MARVIN HEUER, MD PART I
MARVIN HEUER, MD PART II
THE PHYSICIANS RECOGNITION AWARD
SUPPLEMENTS INVADE IRAQ
Dr. Heuer received a medical degree in the 70’s and actually saw real patients (I believe) for six years. Then he joined Smithkline in the 1980’s and started a journey where he sold his soul, and broke it into so many pieces, that all that is left is a powdery substance that, when added to water, produces a power drink that builds muscle mass.
Seriously, look back at Part II to get a sense of how many "medical" businesses he was a part of. From hawking pharmaceuticals, to infertility clinics, to “novel vaccines”, to bogus nutritional supplements, to an ANIMAL HYDRATING BEVERAGE (gee, I thought it was called “water”). How low can a doctor sink when he is spending time creating drinks for non humans???
Here’s a list of diseases his CV suggests he did research on:
Rheumatoid arthritis
Osteoarthritis
Osteoporosis
Hypertension
Antidepressants
Seizures
Hormone replacement therapy
Overactive bladder
Candidiasis
Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
Community acquired pneumonia
Endometriosis
Diabetes
Lipid lowering
Sinusitis
Migraine
Most researchers spend their whole life on one topic. Not Dr. Heuer. If a drug company comes calling, he ANSWERS the call with aplomb!
Here is a picture I find particularly amusing and apropos. Here’s Dr. Marvin posing with a fellow "researcher" marveling at a fabulous new product meant to better mankind:

Makes him proud, I bet. Shown with Jay Cutler (who the heck is Jay Cutler), Dr. Heuer has finally become a punch line. A very sad one.
This is the man behind the “science” of the “BLANK MD” product line.
Weep for him.

You don't know who Jay Cutler is?. You're lucky Mr. Olympia doesn't come over there and kick your skinny angry ass! Take off that lab coat and get down to the gym ASAP (after guzzling some supplements first of course).
You will be interested to know that ColdMD is under investigation by a regulatory agency, possibly the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) which regulates advertising. The following is posted on the "Electronic Retailing Self-Regulation Program" website in response to complaints about Cold MD advertising:
Cold MD
Direct response advertising for Iovate Health Sciences International's ColdMD supplement was brought to the attention of the Electronic Retailing Self-Regulation Program by WellNx Life Sciences. Upon its receipt of the ERSP's opening letter, counsel for Iovate informed ERSP that advertising for ColdMD is currently the subject of another inquiry in a different regulatory forum and that the issues in that matter are the same or substantially similar to the challenged matter brought by WellNx to ERSP. As such, ERSP has determined that, pursuant to section 2.2 (C) of the ERSP Procedures that it would be an unnecessary expenditure of this self-regulatory forum's resources to conduct a duplicitous review of the ColdMD advertising at this time and that it would be unduly burdensome to the marketer to simultaneously defend the same or similar issues pertaining to its advertising in two different forums.

Don't forget about SleepMD. I love my DVR ... where this young milky-looking kid says "a team of scientists" I see in the fine print "Dr. Marvin Heuer, MD, FAACP, formula Chief Scientific Officer". Heuer is not the young milky looking kid holding the product, he's the older guy in the back with the voided expression on his face.
When searching, all I can find is a Bachelor of Science in "Dr. Heuer"s credentials. Nothing wrong with that, but he is not a "Doctor" anymore than I am.
What can we do to bring these charlatans down? As a pill-popping American layman, how am I to sort through the morass of bullshit ads I see on TV?
Can't someone sue Heuer or the makers of ColdMD/SleepMD and what-have-you? I am sure that some chronic sufferers have paid the price in suffering and time while they ingest these monosaccharide blanks.
Makes me so angry... props (that is, kudos) to you folks earning your degrees the hard way. From a computer scientist with a Bachelor of Science... in Math!

FYI..
Heuer is a doctor that has a medical degree from the university of MN. He practiced medicing in the 70's ad again in the 90's.
I could care less if he has a degree or has ever been a practicing doctor, his ColdMD works! And it is a hell of a lot better than stuffing chemically derrived pills into my system on which all papered and practicing doctors depend. My husband took ColdMD while going through his chemo treatments to help boost his immune system as did all of his caregivers--our docs were impressed by the results as well! All of you condeming this doc seem to just be expressing envy that you didn't think of the herbal remedy yourself. Take a pill and call someone who gives a crap.
I 100% agree with the comment by the anonymous poster who claimed coldMD helped her husband! I have two younger children, who have suffered with strep throat, runny noses and my husband with the flu, twice this year. The SECOND I feel so much as a tickle in my throat, I start downing 2 tabs of ColdMD along with my multivitamin there by overdosing on the vitamins...which is no different then sucking back extra OJ. I would knock on wood or do the hula dance in a monkey suit if someone proved that it kept the cold away as long as my COLDMD does!!! Leave it to those who support the drug administration to try and suppress it's amazing findings. Who cares if he's a doctor or not?? IT'S A VITAMIN.
One more about the so called “Dr.” Marvin Heuer…?
He is the head behind the Failure to Sleep pill known as SleepMD.
If any of you need one day to stay alert for a full night try it. The substance is advertised as a sleep aid, but if you had problems sleeping, take it and your problem will be assured!
I have sometimes trouble sleeping and I can hardly get 2 or 3 hours, so I took the pill… I lost those 2 or 3 hours! The SleepMD kept me awake for more than 24 hours before I could get any sleep again!
To be fair I used it, with much reluctance, two more times with exactly the same results.
So, accordingly to what I read in this site about that guy and the stuff he is manufacturing, we should find a way to contact him directly. I tried the 1-800 for MD Products but they don’t deal with complains; they only want to hear compliments.
I have a really bad imune system, get sick like 5 time a year. started taking coldmd. It is a really good product. I'm into vitamins and staff. Tried everything, this is the only product that works for me and my b.friend, at least. As far as who made it, don't really care as long as it works, lol.
I've used Sleep MD with great results. First, it helps me sleep. In addition I've noticed that my anxiety symptoms have gotten better and I've had anxiety for a long time. In fact it works better than any of the SSRI that I've taken.
Ok here is the deal!! Notice how when you find a good product that does what it says it does it gets yanked off the market????? Hmmm here is my thought, If you go to a doctor for the same things as what you can get out of coldmd. You spend a lot more time, money and and the results are not as quick or good for you. Look at the prescription warnings on your next prescriptions. I bet they say warning may cause......ect ect ect. There will be a long huge list. In all reality your better off dealing with your cold, sleep problem or whatever you have than take the risk of all the side effects if your one of the people that has them or gets liver failer or something from your prescription.I am not a big health nut(so to speak) but I found coldmd and it works great for me and apparently many others. Here is the cool part if you dont like it or dont want to take it dont, but please put it back on the market for those that do. Thank you
I have tried Cold MD products they are not bad but there are tons of other products that are equal if not better in each category of supplement.
I have known Dr. Heuer since I was a kid. My sister (a nurse) worked with him at the clinic and hospital where I went when sick etc. He treated me for normal kid things and when I saw him again as an adult he helped me with various things to help me lose excess weight that was killing me. He stressed exercise and eating right and also recommended prescription drugs as well as over the counter diet aids. I am happy to say that with Dr. Heuer's help I have lost 115 pounds and am now healthy ie no more high cholesterol, normal blood sugar levels, normal blood pressure, no more sleep apnea, and a new lease on life at 40. Dr. Heuer has always helped people with weight issues and is also very helpful in women's health issues ( I am male but have recommended friends to see him). He also helped me out as I struggled with depression and alcoholism. I would probably not be around today if it weren't for Dr. Heuer.
